Its mission is to deliver accurate knowledge for education, harm reduction, and healthier cultural understanding. A central feature is the Experience Vault, with more than 45,000 firsthand reports documenting effects, risks, and personal insights. Funded mainly by donations, Erowid ensures free public access. The name “Erowid” means “Earth Wisdom,” reflecting universal knowledge of existence.
